she wore the pants in that family!
Wasn't he the Vice President? If my memory isn't totally shot last season Air Force 1 got shot down and the President died, that's how Logan became President.

I am getting real sick of Sean Astin's "Lynn" character....who does he think he is anyway (all I can see is a hobbit :P :-?) ...Bill Buchanan should be in charge....Does Lynn really think he's going to take Jack back into custody....

Got hooked on 24 last year. Santa gave Mr. Irishcajun all four seasons on dvd for Christmas. He hid for a week watching them all before this season started.
So far, I agree that Logan looks like Nixon and is an ameoba.

The Hobbit is a bit annoying and should have had more bruising from the butt whoopin (not sure I understand how that fits in, but I was happy someone kicked his butt!)

Chloe and Edgar need to get together.

Jean Smart is doing a great job as he first lady even though I still see her as Charlene from Designing Women.

Side note. . .got an e-mail the other day about Jack Bauer and his hero status. A few of my favs were:

Jack Bauer knows Victoria's Secret

Jack Bauer can get breakfast at McDonalds after 10:30

Jack Bauer routinely rips the tags off of mattresses

You are conscious right now because Jack Bauer doesn't feel like carrying you
GEAUX SAINTS!!! and GEAUX TIGERS!!!

And he looks way too much like Dickie Nixon.
And I'm even more convionced that Martha wears teh pants in the family.

I'd like to add Lynn McGill to the spineless amoeba list, too, while I'm at it.

From the looks of it, he's going to try to take Curtis into custody.
Okay, so lets see: no jack, curtis, bill, probably audrey and chloe too. Who's left? He has no power left, CTU can't be run without them.

I was just giving an episode recap to a friend who missed the episode and forgot to tape, and I summed it up like this:

So lynn f*cked everything up at ctu, Logan being the spineless amoeba he is, negotiated directly with terrorists, and jack was just doing his job.

Basically, Season 5 in a nutshell.

It will be nice to see a mutiny occur next week! :D :P
Audrey will finally step up to the plate and Chloe and Edgar will finally realize they're good together.

Curtis won't go down without a fight according to the preview for next week so I'm looking forward to a good Rudy hobbit beating :pirate:
Perhaps they'll finally boot his butt when they find out he no longer has possession of his key card..isn't that a breach of security?

Looks like a good episode tonight.

Some major spoilers:

Kim (Jack's daughter) will be back at some point during the season, possibly on March 13th.

From Czar at the Insider:

Christopher Henderson is a new character played by Peter Weller. Chris and Jack go way back and Chris was Jack's mentor at CTU many years before day 1. Jack investigated some CTU agents who were participating in illegal activities and Jack accused Henderson of being involved. Henderson's life as a federal agent was ruined and he ended up joining the private sector and the company he works for is believed to have acquired the nerve gas.

February 27th episode: The set they used at the end of the episode was a bunker. Robocop will take Jack to this bunker and he will lock him inside of it. Explosives are on the prop list so expect Henderson to try and kill Jack.

March 6th Episode Hour 1: Jack ends up torturing both Mr. and Mrs. Robocop. Henderson is a rare 24 bad guy and he WON’T break. Usually characters are tortured for about a scene and a half and then they conveniently break and advance the plot with their information but Henderson won't be breaking. Curtis and the nameless background fiels ops unit will be at a hospital. I'm pretty sure that the scene involved Curtis running through the hospital with the bio agent and placing it in a container. Sound familiar?

March 6th Episode Hour 2: Robocop is at CTU now and he's getting tortured. He still won't break and things will go too far. CTU will be in chaos and there's a surprising and very sad death at the end of the episode. I told your 24 insider that I would leave that unspoiled.

The show is really starting to grow a pair starting with the last quarter of episode 12 and the shocks and twists are going to be insane in March. Whoever said that nobody was safe was dead on.>>

I'm finally starting to believe that Kim will bite the dust.

It seems NBC thinks Donald Trump can beat Jack Bauer.

My thoughts on that are

No one fires Jack Bauer

and

Jack Bauer doesn't need an apprentice

How interesting. I read all the LOST spoilers, but I'm not touching the ones here until after the show. :o
