You think he was just overcompensating, trying to present an image to the outside world with that daredevilry?

I drive a '99 Honda approaching 90,000 miles and I couldn't recommend it strongly enough! The disappearing 3rd seat is awesome. I have the towing package and regularly towed our 17' bowrider. The newer ones are even better, with more HP and brakes and leather.
If you don't need the higher towing capacity or 4wd I can't see buying an SUV. If you are secure in your manhood and don't care about what certain
rednekks say then buy the Honda.

It seems pretty obvious to me now that this WAS the case... I mean he handled SOASOAPT alot! Talk about an obsession over things of a phallic nature!

We have a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan that we bought brand new. While I love the room and style of the van I will never buy another Dodge vehicle nor will I ever recommend a Dodge to anyone.
At 50,000 miles the transmission went out. We had to pay for 100% of the cost to replace it. If Dodge would have stood by their product and offered a little help with the cost of replacing the transmission my view of them would be different and then I could sing their praises of what a great company it is.
We have also had MANY costly repairs on other parts since then.
Maybe their warranties last longer now than when we bought ours but it doesn't matter. In my eyes Dodge is craap.
Sorry for the rant
I hear the Honda and Toyota vans are very nice with good reliability.
