Am I the only one?

Post by allucaneatbuffett »

Am I the only one who just can't wait to get the tour dates for 2006? Am I the only one who feels like a little kid waiting for Jimmy to come to town, almost like waiting for Santa Claus? Am I the only one who looks forward to camping out in freezing temps to get tickets??

Sometimes I wonder what it is going to be like around this time of year in the future when I have no JB to look forward to. How cool it is to be able to experience this crazy fanatical experience we parrotheads live for. I popped in Meet Me In Margaritaville this morning on the way to work and started to get that feeling, that feeling of basking in the sun at the tailgate while caressing my 13th bottle of Corona..

Every year after the holidays, I go through each day looking forward to two things that signal the happy days of summer our on the way. One is the commercials for "The Masters" (that's the prestigous golf tournament for you golfers) , and of course tickets going on sale for JB.

Man, I can't wait!!!

For all you MD/VA Fruitcakes, see you at Nissan Pavillion in VA!!!

I was thinking more of Jimmy and the CRB recording a new album this week, but t-shirts with a lot of cities on them would be good, too. :D

Actually, I kinda dread it. He will probably be priced out of my range again. Making my first three year-no show stretch since I started going to shows in 1978
