NHRA - that time of year again

yes, we're counting down the days until the Winternationals. here's what i think we'll see this year:

john force will win, with a vengeance

mike ashley will be a serious competitor in funny car

greg anderson will win a 4th straight championship

doug kalitta will be in the running for a top fuel championship, again

erica enders will improve greatly

Im interested in prostock motorcycle,to see if the playingfield is going to be a little more even.NHRA seems to be trying to push the jap bikes out of competition,they forget thats what made the class...them bastards!

Television just cannot do justice to what nitro-burning engines sound/feel like.

I like to go into the pits Sunday morning and get my "hit" of nitro!

In 1991 I was talking with Don "The Snake" Prudhomme (MY HERO) as they fired the car for the first time Friday morning at Sanair Raceway and he said: "After all these years it still gives me a woody!"

I'll never forget that!

There really is nothing better!!!!!
If you go to a drag race and haven't had the experience, you haven't really been to a race.

Even if you don't get hit in the face with the nitro---you have to FEEL the sound!

Frank seems to forget that without the rice rockets there would be no PSB.

NHRA had to tweak the rules FOR YEARS to make H-D competitive.

I didn't forget anything. They served their purpose, and like all other disposable items, after they serve their purpose, you toss 'em out.

pro stock bikes will be allowed to run fuel injected this year
