Its official...

It's official. This is the first day from my new apartment. What's better. 2 hours or 25 minutes for a commute? Very rad people.

(Just had to share my excitement.)

Thanks, guys. The place is cool. It's huge for a 2BR, although my BR is on the small side, I don't plan on being stuck in there. Once we finish getting the place furnished, then I'll hit you up with some pics. (somehow - since I don't have a computer right now. Hmmmm.)

You know what's expensive? The first time you go shopping and have to buy EVERYTHING. That sucks.

I slept last night. That was nice. I had no idea what to do. My buddy was going to bed at 10:30 and I just looked at him. I didn't do that when I came in from the Illy, why start now?

On the way home there's a regular pan-handler. I'll miss my Amtrak buddies. I'll be sure not to look anyone in the eye, though.

Probably about 4. Not necessarily equal, but when you no longer have to run for the 1 train leaving at 6:55 or 7:20, and catach a subway every 8 minutes, there's a sense of relief.

25 minutes to go 4 miles...you city slickers slay me. My daily commute is like 19 miles and doesn't take me that long.

No way. That thing will be shut down for a few months while they decontaminate it. I couldn't wait that long.

half is walking. 10 minutes to the train and about 5 to the office. Not bad.

Sure I'd like to have a car, but not here. NO WAY!

You must not be taking into account when the wind shifts and you are down wind from the pig farm.

I definitely think we were separated at birth. I usually stick with "hick" instead of "hillbilly". Hafta add that to my Frankie-insult catalogue.
