Traveling rig and will sell their place. they will be real snowbirds.
I will have time to research and move. I have little reason to stay in Boise. ( aside from a few BNers.)

jobs
sports. Baseball, football,Hockey,Baseball, a team to watch live.

this is a long term deal I really don't think I will
be closing the door on Boise for at least a year.

Thanks.

You've got a whole ton of options, but I think you could have some real fun in rural PA. what it doesn't fill immediately it has other places (NYC - theater) to do that.

Denver's a pretty good fit for most of those criteria.

Great sports teams (well, except for the Rockies, but if the Nuggets turned it around...)

Colorado has great hunting.

Denver's downtown area has a great arts complex, and they have a few festivals throughout the year.

And from what I've seen, there's quite a few BNers here in Colorado...

Sounds like NJ/PA to me. Could be Northern VA, but the cost of living there is atrocious....

hehehe
I've actually seen several flocks of wild turkeys in the oddest places around here. Please come here and shoot the huge migration of ducks that have been hanging out since we got rid of all the geese.
You might want to think about North Carolina. If you are near the Raleigh/Durhan area I'd imagine you'd have culture. You can get to the mountains or the beach in less then a day.

Get close to Chicago. They have all the major sports teams(althought some of them s*** right now). Plenty of festivals in the summer. A little lake to go out and enjoy the water. Skiing and hunting in a couple different directions. Plenty of jobs to be had. I would say they have just a few cultural things to offer as well. Definitely have all 4 seasons. Also, centrally located in the US where it's easy to get to the rest of the country.

lots of jobs

sports. Baseball, football,Hockey,Baseball, a team to watch live.
Mets, Yankees, Jets, Giants, Rangers, Knicks, Nets, Devils, Islanders on LI and 3 minor league baseball teams in the area (Staten Island Yankees, Brooklyn Cyclones and LI Ducks)

BNers.
there are a few

arts. (not just concerts but Musicals and Plays too)
we have everything, including "gentlemen's" clubs

four seasons.. I do not mind the snow I hate fog.

Maybe in New Jersey or Upstate NY (Westchester, etc.) Close enough to hunting in Pennsylvania or the Catskills, but close enough to go to "The City."

Okay Wayne...PARIS TENNESSEE!!

We have an extremely low crime rate. That's a big reason on why I moved here!

Hunting...We got your hunting! Deer are abundant. Hubby has property outiside the city limits and there are more processing plants here than anything else (okay, maybe not, BUT THERE ARE A LOT) and you can also hunt duck, and turkey...(Just Ask Hank Jr...yes, he lives here!)

It's not the beach...but it's Kentucky Lake and the Land Between the Lakes is beautiful!

We DO have the Titans...although I stay true to the Jags! Nashville also has a hockey team.

We have a performing arts theater and a great Arts Council and that means we have live shows, art shows and lots of workshops.

We have seasons. Real seasons. So far this year, it's snowed twice. Nothing major but enough to look pretty. Our Summer's can be WARM...98 days are not uncommon. Great for all the wardrobe. I have tank tops and sweaters!

Festivals...only the WORLD'S LARGEST FISH FRY PARADE. Yes, Last Mango WILL have a float again this year!

Speaking of Last Mango...we are the home ot one of the coolest PHC in the World! Right Linda  ...and I know where you can get a membership ap! :wench:

And the last AND BEST reason to move to Paris ME AND CITCAT!!!! And Des on occasion! :wench:

The Queen and SharkOnLand have covered a lot of the advantages of Denver. I agree with all of those.

... but they left some out.

LDOL: You can attend LDOL and sleep in your own bed every night.

Walking / running: Parks, miles of trails and places for Santa to run every December.

Beer: One of the Drydock owners told me that Colorado has 100 licensed breweries. Many of them are listed on Beer Advocate. :o

Great American Beer Festival September 28-30 this year.
