Just wondering if anyone had heard if JB tested out any new material at the Margaritaville appearance the other night. Since it was so impromptu, it doesn't seem like anyone was able get a boot either..any BNer's got da scoop??

Yes it is false. Probably not intentionally but it is false.

This makes a lot more sense to me. Some friends and I were sitting at the Conch Farm listening to Clint Bullard play when we saw Jimmy and the band members leave about 7:15. Jimmy had been outside a little earlier chatting with some of the locals who work in the shops behind the studio, and he'd said the band was headed out to dinner after they were done for the day. When I wandered through M'Ville just after 10:00, there was no mention from my bartender friend that I had missed Jimmy playing, and I never heard a word about it until I read it here. I really hope there's some unintentional miscommunication involved in the post about him playing, because if this was reported to Ches as some kind of joke to be posted, I think that stinks.ccmatt wrote:Yes it is false. I guess if no one can confirm, it's probably bogus..
I repeat that it may not have been intentional, but the claim is bogus. Absolutely positively did not happen.

I was just trying to talk a couple of buddies of mine to drive down to KW for the weekend based on this rumor/semi-true story. This is turning into somekind of Parrothead scoobydoo mystery. "The lost KW show". People will be running around for years swearing it never happened...while others are swearing they where there. Let me start....
"I was there man. It rocked and Jimmy played a who bunch of new stuff, I think some where Marley covers. You had to be there!"
