Pittsburgh was unstoppable with the run, although you're right, Ben didn't break the plane.LIPH wrote:I thought the offensive pass interference penalty that cost the Seahawks a touchdown was a ***** call. I think he broke the plane or at least made it too tough to reverse the call.LIPH wrote:I thought the offensive pass interference penalty that cost the Seahawks a touchdown was a ***** call. It was so close that whatever they would have called on the field, score or not, they would have had to stick with it.
The supposed holding call on the play when the Seahawks would have had it first and goal from inside the five was definitely bad. Next play Hasselback threw the pick.
I agree that Seattle did not make the plays when they had to.

I try to never blame a loss on the refs but damm!!! I agree with you 100% It took away momentum everytime.LIPH wrote:I thought the offensive pass interference penalty that cost the Seahawks a touchdown was a ***** call. I am tired of hearing about Ben Roetjjkkd.... He didn't play that great. At least not great enough to warrant all the props. I think ESPN wants to put him in the Hall of Fame next month.
Congratulations to Pittsburgh and to the Bus

um ya right, like Seattles fans wouldn't have exploded and celebrated too. ha! It's been 26 years since the last Super Bowl win for this city! I'd be out there celebrating too. (Most of the incidents were in Oakland...where Pitt's campus is).Wino you know wrote:THAT always speaks well of a team's fans.MelliJellyBean wrote:just for the record..there were couches burned in Pittsburgh last night. By all means, CELEBRATE TO HIGH HEAVEN when your team wins, but leave other people's property the heck alone.
These spoiled brat jurk-offs need to realize it's not always about THEM.

The college frat-brats are the WORST!MelliJellyBean wrote:honestly, i've seen post-college celebrations that were much worse.

I'd be willing to bet that ALL of them who were arrested are college pukes.
I can only say that if any of them messed with any of MY property, they'd be quickly introduced to the business end of a 12 gauge. Then they wouldn't have to worry about being arrested.

Probably not, but like Melli said it happened on Pitt's campus-- college kids-- the majority who aren't even FROM Pittsburgh. I'm sure by the time they're as mature as us, they'll find new ways to celebrate wins!

did you know that only 3 people need to be involved for is to be legally considered a riot?
