I understand what you're saying.
It's kind of like that in Ames, Iowa, where Iowa State University is.
Those "fans" need to have their a$$e$ strapped until they're bright purple. They're not TOO bad after ball games-they just ACT stupid, but every year there's some kind of celebration (I forget what it's called-Mensa?), but two years ago they literally tore apart the city, smashed cars, street lights, store windows, etc, and there were dozens of arrests.
So last year the city and college administration agreed they'd suspend it for ONE F'ING YEAR. We'll see if they learned their lesson this year, but I'm not holding my breath.
There's NO EXCUSE for those punks acting like that.

West Virginia University students are notorious for setting couches on fire, but rarely anything else. That in itself is stupid, but they have pride in their town and don't destroy it!

I know tons of random crap. TONS.

the score of a forfeited football game? 2-0
Baseball? 9-0

The earliest documented appearance on the name Wendy is in Peter Pan.

When it made its debut in the Sears catalog, the first t-shirt was called the gob shirt.

Tons of random crap is in my head.

I understand the urge to celebrate (I haven't always been an old f*rt), but even by burning a couch somebody could get hurt.
But don't think I have anything against CIVIL celebrations.
(If the BEARS had won the super bowl, everyone in West Virginia would HEAR me screaming).

I understand breaking the remote or kicking a hole in the wall when your team loses but this is ridiculous.

A-HOLES!
As bad a reputation as NY has, fans here never do anything like that after one of the local teams wins a championship. Maybe because we've won so many that we're used to it.

Well it's been 26 years since Pittsburgh won a Super Bowl and 15 years since we've won a Stanley Cup. Apparently the city of Pittsburgh isn't used to it.

at least they've won some stuff recently. Philly ain't won nothing and they're so jealous of The Burgh today.

true but the last time anybody has won was when Michael Jackson was (semi) cool, Kurt cobain didn't know what drugs were, and cars weren't less than 32 feet long.

It sure is fun to watch Randle-El play...his pass might have been the best one of the game. And, P'burgh was a good team...many players were part of the success vs. other teams that are q-back dominated, etc. Officiating was questionable, but P'burgh made the plays.

And...what happened with Holmgren after the game? Cowher was waiting and waiting to shake his hand...?
