All in all it was pretty boring game. Seattle should've and could've won it. Taking into consideration the blatant bad calls, the two missed field goals and countless dropped balls the score should've been dramatically different. Not that I'm complainin'... I hit for $500 at the end of the 3rd quarter. :D

Now, let's talk about what really blew my mind... I've never been a Stone's fan, so could someone please tell me what so wonderful about them? Is it just because their not dead yet? That had to be one of the worst live performances I have ever heard!! It was absolutely awful!!!

And what was up with the National Anthem?? There needs to be a law passed that will not allow people to sing that song any way the please. Last night's rendition was a disservice to Francis Scott Key!!!

I'd agree with you usually.... however Aretha sung the heck out of it.... :D I enjoyed her version... of course Aaron Neville kind was forgotten when she started singing!

Great question! I'd love to know the answer to this too!

Also I really like seeing the MVPs before the game but I wonder why Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw were not there.
Still it was sweet.....Heck I did not know that Jim Plunkett was still around

Me too. I read on espn.com that both of them wanted more money for their appearance. Who knows!?

Several reports claimed Montana wanted $100K to show up. I don't know why Bradshaw wasn't there, maybe he was getting divorced again.

he said that the field got flooded with people and couldn't make it over to find him......he did go to the steelers locker room after to congratulate him..........Holmgren has to much class to not go over to the opposing coach!!

Pittsburg made 2 plays........a 75 yard run and a 3rd and 28 completion!!!........the WR option should of never came into play because of a poor holding call....and one step further is the block on a ball carrier after the interception....from that field position( were the tackle was) they would not of tried that play. But the Stellers won what was a ugly game by both teams!!

That's good to hear. I'd always thought he had more class and respect for the game than to do that.

I still think Randle-El threw the pass of the game.

I'm sure to be villified for this, but I am who I am
I've always been a Rolling Stones fan (especially their old stuff). I understand lots of people don't care for them, and that's fine-sure they may look like death warmed over, but if you want to talk about looks, did anyone get a good look at their FANS?????
I'm sorry, but if I saw any of those "people" walking in MY neighborhood, I'd have to shoot them and put them out of their ever lovin' misery. (In addition to doing the neighborhood a favor).

What does that have to do with the fact that they sounded like total crap last night?? :-?

Just saw this on AOL. Apparently the majority of the country agrees with me.

The rest of the country is entitled to their opinion. (I guess).
I'm not saying they were at their greatest, but I have been a fan for quite some time. (I'm OLD, remember). I will say whoever their wardrobe person is needs to be fired.
As for that bottom photo, I also could've done without hearing the national anthem being slaughtered.
