and in Key Largo.... but they ship you to Miami for anything more complicated than a broken arm

I researched the East Coast a little after I moved to FL..even researched the Keys...I am very happy to come home to the Gulf side...

What a cool deal, Gulf!!! VERY happy for you!
NO WAY could I consider a voluntary major change....been through too many "IN" voluntary ones....I need some nice stability (and deposits to my 401K!) for a few more years before I dare think about anything "wild and crazy" (not the big risk taker, am I

I'm still waiting for my work project in the USVI to get started, should be getting the schedule sometime this week. Not as big a deal as you folks moving permantly south, but who knows, maybe I'll just stay in the islands..
