Peter Luger's is the gold standard for NYC steakhouses, but Keen's on W. 36th isn't a bad second.

Mortons, Ruth Chris, the Capital Grille are all over priced and overrated.

now Lowry's in Dallas for prime rib can't be beat. haven't tried the one in vegas yet.

in PHX go to Drinkwater's City Hall Grill for red meat. but i'll put the 17.99 filet from TexAz Grill up against anybodies...

I hope you're not serious. I would rather eat Burger King than a steak from Sizzlers or Ponderosa's. They rank right up there with buffet steak. Texas Roadhouse does do a decent steak for a chain restaraunt. I've had alot of steaks out and paid an arm and a leg for good steaks, but none are like a juicy old ribeye from my Weber grill at the house.
yes that was a joke!!

The 10 oz fillet Mignon stuffed with blue cheese, served a top a mound of white cheddar garlic mash potato, and topped with a heap of thin sliced freshly beer batter dipped onion rings and pan gravy, served at Paradise Brewing Company.

Bambi was a male deer. Usually the females are better meat. :D

Years back there was a small chain called "Peddlers Steakhouse" they were dang good. Right now I am really into the prime rib at "The Roadhouse Cafe". They will let you buy a larger portion than on the menu, it used to be $1.00 an ounce over the 16 ounce price but they went up to $1.50 an ounce. Now I have to think before I order a 24 ounce prime rib.

I like Stuart Anderson's Black Angus. It's no high-end steak restaurant like Morton's or Ruth's Chris, but for a middle of the road type, the food is good.
