a) does Utah have "Catch and Release" reqs for their cutthroat trout population like Montana?
b) not old, it's the altitude.. probably 10-15% less dense/oxygenated at that altitude than down in Cinci dear.
So does this mean you will be there?PartofthePhlock wrote:

Wish I could but the cards don't seem to be falling into place. Maybe I can be a surprise BNer.coolblueswing wrote:So does this mean you will be there?PartofthePhlock wrote:

The DubPub looks good, but my first choice would be to park once and walk to/from a restaurant that is closer to Canal St. Tavern. (DubPub looks to be about 6 blocks away.) I just tried calling the Canal St. phone # again and didn't get an answer (wanted to see what they recommend). I'll try calling them again tomorrow and will hopefully have another alternative to post.PartofthePhlock wrote:Wish I could but the cards don't seem to be falling into place. It is a tough job, but some one has to do it.parrot1 wrote:Q&S,
I'll be downtown later today, I'll check it out. Can't think of anything close to Canal St. Tavern.

I don't think the staff comes in until after 7pm. The place next door is called Southern Belle, sorry I thought it was just a Bar. I've never been there so.. I'm up for anything.Quiet and Shy wrote:I just tried calling Canal Street Tavern again, and still didn't get an answer.Apparently there's a place right next door that CBS and Ches went to last year that was good. I wanted to check with CST whether it was still there and decent. I'll try calling again this evening and then post what I find out.

Quiet and Shy wrote:Well, I finally reached someone at Canal Street Tavern. The doors open at 8pm. There is metered parking (but free at night) on a side street near Canal Street Tavern or an alleyway in back. They recommended a place called Brick's at 3rd and Patterson for eating before the show (a block away)...but I can't find out anything about the place on the internet.![]()
Parrot1 mentioned Southern Belle as being next door...but you're right, the internet says that's just a bar...no food there. I also looked up Bimini Bill's and that's as far away as DubPub (6-7 blocks).
So, we can just hook up and the first one's in the neighborhood call to let others know if they find Brick's??? Other ideas??? Back to DubPub??? I plan to arrive 6:30-7:00.
I have cell numbers for Ches, CBS, BHC, R2, but don't have parrot1 or Capt Flock numbers.
well... in case you miss Peter Mayer, there are good alternatives..parrot1 wrote:Here's today's special
