I think they have a Jimmy Buffett night every year, and I seem to remember it was earlier last year.

one of my best friends from college who I played baseball w/ was signed by Schamburg last year. You are correct they do have a Buffett Night every year. Even more weird is they signed "Leon" the Budwesier guy that was like waaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssssabi to a years contract last year. He was a hell of a pichter at the University of Florida.
my 2 cents

The Cedar Rapids Kernels baseball team has a "Parrothead night at the ballpark" every July. It'll be a Saturday night in July this year.
$20.00 gets you into the game (where our P.H.C. rents out the left field picnic area every year), plus ALL THE BEER YOU CAN DRINK, plus all the cheeseburgers, hot dogs, brats, popcorn, peanuts, etc. you can eat.
I usually get my money's worth.

that sounds tempting... but it's in IA. Is there even an airport to fly into for that event?

Non-affiliated member of the Northern League like the St. Paul Saints. Think Northern League is like AA ball equivalent.

No. I'll have Fred Flinstone pick you up at the state line.
