might want to let Jah be the instructor on all things humourous. He knows funny.LIPH wrote:Sounds like somebody doesn't have a sense of humor. For the humor deprived, that's a joke
Jah's copied and pasted a couple "Humour in Uniform" columns and posted them here in the past?Cubbie Bear wrote:Why am I picturing Lt hauk from Good Morning Vietnam

You mean the "Park on Northerly Island"?chitownpirate wrote:Capttony wrote:i'm partial to great woods --

I hope you're wrong Captain....but how about this....an intimate night with Jimmy at Miegs Field in Chicago on the 'coast' of Lake Michigan.
And tickets go on sale to BNer's before released to Ticketbastard?
That's the one...couldn't think of it!RinglingRingling wrote:You mean the "Park on Northerly Island"?chitownpirate wrote:Capttony wrote:i'm partial to great woods --

that would be a great venue. Lights of the city on one side, boats all around, plenty of room... not bad at all.chitownpirate wrote:That's the one...couldn't think of it!RinglingRingling wrote:You mean the "Park on Northerly Island"?chitownpirate wrote:Capttony wrote:i'm partial to great woods --

you had a great idea to that point... I would imagine they'd be $100+. Richard II would have his hands out at all levels.chitownpirate wrote:And I bet tickets would be dirt cheap, right?RinglingRingling wrote:that would be a great venue. Midnight Flyer is correct. Irvine Meadows now known as VerizonMidnight Flyer wrote:But seriously, I'm only familiar with a couple and the best I've been to so far is the Verizon Amphitheatre in Irvine, CA. He hasn't played there for several years but if he does it is a great venue and a happenin' parking lot!!!![]()

You missed the sarcasm their R2...but you're right- those tickets would be near impossible to get...probably a 'benefit' pricing schedule. If Wrigley nosebleeds were $90, I couldn't imagine what those would be.RinglingRingling wrote:you had a great idea to that point... I would imagine they'd be $100+. I did. I was caught up in imagining being out on the island. But heck yes, put the Boat Drunks and Don Middlebrook out there with that as a backdrop. Incredible.chitownpirate wrote:You missed the sarcasm their R2...but you're right- those tickets would be near impossible to get...probably a 'benefit' pricing schedule. Hell, I'd settle for a cover band at that location!
