Well...this has given me hope at least. I will wish for your prediction to be right. I think it is great that he wants time with the kids. It shows a side of Jimmy that a lot of people might forget exists. And it is quite an endearing side at that. However he probably wants all of the summer off considering the reasoning this time. What was the reason in 2001? He has given us so much of himself for a long time and I have escaped from many a bad days by taking a trip to a point southeast of disorder. So bless him and may he enjoy the time off.

But, Bubba if you are out there...you will be missed greatly. I hope the Midwest comes into the picture this season. If not we'll be waiting and hoping for the next round. Thank you for all you have given.

I suppose "taking the summer off" depends on the kids' school schedules. So, if they're back in school by mid-August, we may see Jimmy in April and May, and perhaps before September.

Boarding school. Interesting. I hope it works well for them. Delaney was born in '92 and Cameron in '94 if I recall correctly...so that'd basically be Jr. High and High School.

I have no idea. She was high school age when APLA50 was written, but I don't recall any mention of boarding school.

That isn't exactly the point. The point attempted, at least in my passing, was that he took that summer off to sail the Med with the kids too. Then it turns out he is doing private parties. Working is working in my book.
