Tickets for the two Friday, April 7 screenings of the movie Hoot, whose cast and crew spent five days filming on the island in July, will go on sale at 9 a.m. on Friday, March 31 at the Gasparilla Inn. Tickets for the showings will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

The screenings are scheduled for 5 and 8 p.m. at the Gasparilla Inn Beach Club. The event is sponsored by the Gasparilla Inn and Gasparilla Properties.

The two showings will benefit the Gasparilla Island Conservation and Improvement Association Inc. Bike Path Endowment Fund.

Tickets for the 5 p.m. screening cost $20. Tickets for the 8 p.m. screening are $100.

Just noticed that the date of the Hoot Premier (per Boca article) is the same as the second Alpine concert....

Is that likely? Anyone have more info?

both are apparently scheduled for Sat, Apr 22

i suppose its possible that the Hoot Premier could be earlier in the day, since its a kids movie......???
