oh no!!! not for me. I use a beer batter and flower and double dip those suckers before I throw them in.

And okra - damn I miss fried okra. You can't find it up here unless you special order 20 pounds of it or maybe if you're lucky you can find it frozen. I've got some friends from Texas living in Portland and we're gonna go in together to order some.

The only good way to cook it is to burn it to a crisp, throw it away, and replace it with something that was meant to be consumed by humans.
