chicken fried steak - yummy!
oh no!!! not for me. I use a beer batter and flower and double dip those suckers before I throw them in.

And okra - damn I miss fried okra. You can't find it up here unless you special order 20 pounds of it or maybe if you're lucky you can find it frozen. I've got some friends from Texas living in Portland and we're gonna go in together to order some.
Sorry, Connie Dear, but okra is just plain nasty.
Frankie hun - you just ain't had it cooked right
The only good way to cook it is to burn it to a crisp, throw it away, and replace it with something that was meant to be consumed by humans.
obviously you don't eat gumbo either
Well...(said in my best Bubba voice) I've been on sabbatical.

are you really gonna eat someone who likes chicken fried steak, cornbread and beans? Nah - you guys love Pepe.
"Oh all the money that e'er I spent, I spent it in good company.
And all the harm that I ever did, Alas it was to none but me.
And since it falls, unto my lot, that I should rise and you should not
I'll gently rise and I'll softly call, 'Goodnight and Joy be with you all.'"

OK y'all are making me miss Texas!
I can get good fried okra, and delicious black-eyed peas down here in Florida, but I have not found a decent chicken fried steak since I left Fort Worth!

sometimes we do have to vacate the rooms. I almost pulled a fire alarm on him, but I don't want to go to jail for a fraudulent call. Imagine explaining that one to the cops.
