Good ol Ticketmaster.
Van Morrison tickets went on sale Saturday at 10:00am here in Boston. I was in the waiting room for only 30 seconds, got right through, picked 2 tickets best available.
Guess what - Tickets were not availabe. possible single tix left. The time was 10:04AM
The Opera house was sold out in 4 minutes? I'm not buying it.

Sorry to hear that. Same thing happened last March when he played the Orpheum. I was lucky enough to land 2 tix to that show.
One thing about ticketmaster search. I was told it's better not to choose best available because the system searches all seats, which takes longer. If you pick one section, it'll be quicker in searching through that section only. Not sure if that's true or not, but makes sense I suppose. Anyway, I saw ticket brokers had Van tix 2 days before the show actually went on sale in Boston, and the tickets had section and seat numbers!

Yeah I ran into the same problem. I was online exactly at 10am also. I was pretty surprised at how quickly they were gone.

seacoasttickets.com out of Portsmouth NH has close to 200 on sale on their site. Looks like our buddies at Clear Channel are still in the Ticket Scalping supporting business.
