The Lotta Love Concert – A Tribute To Nicolette Larson
Tonight 8:00 pm ET
It’s February and that means there’s Valentines Day, and a lotta love comin’ your way on Radio Margaritaville! Rhino Records will be releasing the long awaited Lotta Love Concert CD on February 14th (Valentine’s Day). This star-studded concert was held as a remembrance of singer/songwriter Nicolette Larson, who succumbed to cancer. Join hosts Russ Kunkel (husband to Nicolette, producer, world-renowned drummer), his son Nathaniel, and Graham Nash (Crosby, Stills & Nash) as they give us the first listen to music from the concert and share exclusive conversations with some of the stellar line-up of the show, including Jimmy Buffett, Bonnie Raitt, Carole King, David Crosby, Steven Stills and Jackson Browne. It's a Radio Margaritaville exclusive!

Rebroadcast: Sat., Feb. 11th @ 1 am & 9 am ET; Tues., Feb. 14th @ 2 pm ET.

That was a cool show - about 2.5 hours. Jimmy played a kind of solo version of Margaritaville, and talked about his memories of Nicolette. I wonder if the interviews are part of the Rhino release? There are no details at rhino.com

Wow, this was a really special show. I remember listening to the Tribute Show, but the way this was done for RadioMargaritaville was really special. Don't miss it. I had forgotten about Nicolette doing vocals on Barometer Sour. (Jimmy is such a great guy!)

Check out the tribute info.
