And even though I'm a lifelong Cardinals fan, if McGwire is proven to be on steroids at ANY time during his career, his title should be stripped, as well as any other player who has used steroids. They pervert the whole game.
And let's not forget amphetamines... 85% or more ? WTF is going on with that? Baseball didn't just get dirty. As someone posted a ways back, Commissioner Pussy alowed a huge mess to be made of the great game. BUT REVENUES WERE UP!!! It's time to clean things up.

If Big Mac was not juiced, why did he break down and cry when he was asked infront of the Senate hearing if he use steroids? At least Sammy suddenly forgot how to speak english! No one cared back then. It was fun to watch the guy hit the cover off the ball.
I'm not condoning what ANY of them allegedly have done, but Mark McGuire has showed he has tons of something Barry Bonds doesn't know the meaning of-
A THING CALLED SHAME!
McGuire isn't a racist either.

Yeah-so he cried in front of congress. I do believe he is truly sorry for any disgrace he may have brought to the game.

The only way Barry Bonds will ever cry is if some white guy hits 74 home runs in a season.

Rangers trade Dave Dellucci to Phillies for Robinson Tejeda.

Good move for the Rangers....makes no sense for Phills.
Phillies don't need Dellucci, and he'll have nowhere to play. Tejeda is a top prospect, who could've turned into a decent closer given time.

Now the Rangers have a good arm for their rotation, and have relieved themselves of one of their 8 outfielders.

OPENING DAY!!!!!!!

Been thinking about the whole Bonds, McGuire steroid induced home run derby this weekend. Sorry for the firm grasp of the obvious, but Roger Maris and his family really got screwed.

Let’s hear it for stealing bases, sacrifice bunts, hit and run and all the “tricks” the rest of the world used to kick our butts at our own game!

PLAY BALL!!

Sacramento has the River Cats, the AAA minor league for the A's. They play real baseball there. Think I'll spend most of my $$$ watching kids trying to make The Show.

But, I'll still watch the bigs on the TV.

When we lived in Texas, we had Rangers season tickets for years, and NEVER missed opening day.

Stupid Sox are killing the Rangers, but I still wish I was there watching!

Chris Carpenter shows up strong.

So far Pujols has two home runs.

Oh, and Scott Rolen is better.

Play ball!
