I did...from ALPINE BEACH!

I saw something yesterday more rare than a no-hitter. A rain out in San Diego....first a Buffett show is postponed a day in 04...now a Padres game...what is the world coming to :roll:

Only the second Padres home rainout in 23 years and only the 16th in their history. I think the Pirates had 16 last years alone.

I think it counts. And if what I read in the paper was true, I like what Tony LaRussa did opening day when Rollins was 0-3 and got up in the 8th inning. Newsday said LaRussa had the pitcher throw a strike instead of walking him when the count was 3 balls and no strikes so he could have a shot at keeping the streak alive.
