Michelle Quan-

Sorry you had to pull out. Your pain and disappointment was evident in your news story. I'm glad you pulled out but that I must also say I don't think you should have been there anyway - it was just too soon after a groin injury.

GO EMILY HUGHES. I just hope she finally can get a flight out of New York and that this delay dosn't effect her negatively.

She pulled out?

If so good. There's no reason she should have been in Turino anyway if she didn't qualify. I can sorta see from a marketing standpoint how there are few very marketable athletes, but Hughes could be just as marketable. I'm going to LMAO if she wins.

NBC sux...

So, I want to watch our luge buddy, and I go to NBC.com to look up the coverage schedule. What do I get? They posted the final results, and then had the wrong time down for coverage. They said 4 pm... so I turn on the TV at 3:45 and have already missed half of it. If they want people to watch the coverage why do they have the results up front to see before you can look up anything else??  :-?

I posted this so no one else goes to NBC.com trying to look up coverage schedules and ends up having results spoiled for them.

Kwan was injured in a fall during a practice round Saturday. They're saying it's unrelated to the groin pull. Something in her hip, which has been giving her problems for some time now.

She was in tears yesterday at the practice rink. I've never seen her cry.

This may be just the "bounce" Hughes needs to pull it all together. She hasn't ever skated a clean long. She's a great kid.

Just as Kwan has been a great champion with a huge heart and such passion for the sport.

Bode Miller was DQ'd from the combined event today, when it was discovered that he stradled a gate in the slalom.

However, the US still won GOLD in a huge upset when Ted Ligety, not expected to be in the running, won!!!!!!!!

sure - I mean, I have this on some good information. Lets just say, I've got a guy, and this is for real.
