Considering all the stores put out their Valentines day crap (and I do mean CRAP) out two days after Christmas, I'll be SO glad after tomorrow when this WAY over-rated "holiday" is FINALLY over with and all the little "ME" princesses can go wilt away with their G.D.M.F. FLOWERS!
I swear, I'd give half my testicles if HALLMARK would file for chapter 11 bankruptcy and go the hell out of business.
Thank GOD my wife HATES flowers, HATES hallmark, and is more than content to spend the evening at home with our two dogs and let ME make HER a home cooked meal and pour her a glass or three of fine wine.
(Have I ever mentioned I LOVE this angel I'm married to)?

Anyway, tomorrow this farce of a day will be over with, and we can all concentrate on the REAL holiday coming up-
ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!

Don't get me started on St. Patricks Day. I hat e the fact that everybody celebrates it. (I think I hate it more that tomorrow.)
"Oh all the money that e'er I spent, I spent it in good company.
And all the harm that I ever did, Alas it was to none but me.
And since it falls, unto my lot, that I should rise and you should not
I'll gently rise and I'll softly call, 'Goodnight and Joy be with you all.'"

Thank you. While I don't care tooooo much, it does bug me that 'everyone's irish' for st patricks day. It is actually a holiday for those of us who are legitimately Irish. Cripes, I don't run around going 'I'm black' on Martin Luther King day.

Exactly - Think of the looks I'd get if I were to join in the Puerto Rican day parade, or go crash teh Greek Picnic in Philly, or whatever else. It sounds unsensitive, when in reality its completely hypocritical.

I only ACT Irish on St. Patrick's Day with a bottle of Baileys. (Sorry, I can't handle Guiness to save my life).
But maybe next year I can ACT black on M.L.K. day and have some Boone's Farm.

Geez, I dunno. A lot of people pretend to be Christian around Christmas.

Yeah...sadly, Irish is really the only nationality I can pass for.....don't think I've ever been confused with any other.

At least I don't have the damned freckles anymore  That was annoying when I was younger.
