Nah - I got on the train late and she was asleep. I didn't talk to her until we were getting off the train in Philly. Not much time to leave an impression.
ok.. we gotta hear the story...

Here it is Rs,

Total fluke. The apartment broker cancelled on us so I went to an office Christmas party and then went to Penn Station to catch the 7:35 train. It was crowded enough that I had to share a seat so I walked a car forward to find a good place. I ended up sitting next to this (annoying) girl who got out halfway between Philly and NYC. Meanwhile gf was sleeping, but at Philly when it was time to get out, we started talking. She dropped something and didn't realize it so I told her and we talked for a few minutes. I was getting vibes that she wasn't into me so I just told her that when she came into the city the next week to give me a call and maybe we could get a beer. I left thinking nothing of it. I was off on Mon & Tues and when I got in Weds morning, there was a message from her on my machine. I immediately called her back and left a message. We ended up meeting for dinner, something which I cleared my calendar for, and talked for 3 hours plus. Well, everything seemed to work well and we have been seeing each other since.

That's the story, and its the only reason why I would say anything positive about Amtrak.

So I guess that answers the question for mings... "Would you, could you, on a train?"

we need more background.. what was she on the train for and why? how old is she? does she come from a good family? would your mom and dad approve of her? does she like prawns? Is she faking? what does she look like? Can she name any Buffett songs not on the Yellow Album, and moreover, can she sing them?

How does she feel about coxwains?

you know, the basics.. :D

She was going to Philly for an interview at Penn's Vet school for the residency program. She wasn't even going to take the train that night. She is 2 years my junior. I haven't met her family because they are 5000 miles away - Hawaii, but they seem awesome. My family would love her, and she'd fit right in with our insanity. She does eat seafood, but more importantly she loves the Muppets. She's gorgeous. Her dad is a big PH and she used to listen to JB while sailing with her dad. If she can't name songs, she'd surely recognize them. (My whole collection is going on her ipod, now that I have my new computer and can do that.)

She's a former paddler (outrigger canoes) so while she's not too familiar with rowing, she's familiar enough with our practice schedule and a rowers way of life. I have a feeling she would have made a great coxswain.

I'm easing her into this, but she does know about BN and you guys. Maybe not all by name, but she will by the time concert season comes around.

I have no clue. She likes Jack, Jake (her friend is one of Jakes friends) and Isreal. She's never mentioned 5-0.
