It is getting close, and Irvine is the place to be! I can not wait to go to both shows!

You and your friend were in perfect form/ We were in the alley as well, but spent a great deal of time cruising the strip in our bus and had it parked in the bus stop area in front of Margaritaville several times. With FINS BUS license plates and "Meet Me in Margaritaville" painted on the back, the cops thought we were part of the event.

We are going to be staying at the Irvine Doubletree. Microsoft Streets says it is about 1.7 miles from the show.
You can usually get the shuttle driver to take you to the show. Sometimes you can talk them into picking you up after, but don't count on it.

I will second what Bumper said - Make sure the driver is SOBER! I've seen the police lined up outside Irvine Meadows on many occasions, just waiting to pull people over. Don't let it happen to you!
