Darn it, the price on the plane ticket I've been watching just went UP. Ok, so it's only an additional $22, but that's about one-third the price of a T-shirt on plenty of jello shots!

I guess I should have purchased earlier today. But I've been waiting for the price to go down just a bit.

Wow!!! Will you sign autographs?

The excitement is here, it keeps me thinking when I'm trying to sleep. I've never attended a concert alone, and I'm still excited. I figure I'll find some of you out there.

Thanks Polly for taking on the phone list. I know Beach Blonde was working on a list, part of it was listed in this thread. I sent her a PM on 3/15. I believe her list started on 2/28.

going alone is fun!!! Didn't know a phone list was started yet. I don't take those things on... It would never get done if it was up to me!!! Hahaha....

All the parrotheads I know locally thought it sounded fun, until it came to prices, which is understandable. I would have rather seen Freddy and the Fishsticks, which would have been less cost, and possibly more fun....I can't imagine seeing Jimmy at such a small venue. But that boat sailed long time back, and when the tour dates didn't list another Colorado show this year (not yet anyway) I didn't want to risk not seeing him, and all the fun involved, again.

Jimmy had a concert in Denver each of 2003 and 2004, so it didn't surprise us when 2005 didn't bring him here. With everything else he's got going on, I wasn't surprised to not see Denver on the 06 list either.

I've always wanted to do a road trip that involved a few shows. I guess I'll start with this one tour date and the airplane ride. See how it goes, and save for next year.

I am also thinking that with the new album coming out in the fall, and since he's been playing indoors in Denver for a couple years, why wouldn't Jimmy come to Colorado later this year?!?!?! I'm hoping.

Plus this way I get to meet a bunch of new, great phriends!!

Why not have some kind of impromptu entrainment in the premio parking lot? Someone could bring a guitar......
If the Sports Page don't get their entertainment license back, odds are I'll do just that. :) If they *do* get it back, there's a good chance I'll be playing over there.

Either way, we'll be raisin' hell. :)

Bummer, BEG...if you're ever up in the Bay Area when I'm gigging around (check my Website for dates & such), I hope you'll stop by & introduce yourself.

I should be out at MOTM this year again, but don't know when I'll be where yet. But Have Guitar Will Definitely Travel! :pirate:

I sorta answered this on the Sail America thread, but it's worth repeating...if I can figure out how to make the trip pay for itself and get the time off work (yes, I'm a Real Musician - I have a Day Job 8) ), I'll play pretty much anywhere.

And until I manage to get out your way, my CDs are a lot cheaper to ship and don't require vacation time. :)

Startin' the weekend early...

BTW.. How many does Shorline hold???
I know that Wayne's aversion to the Shoreline was directly responded to. But I don't believe anyone answered your capacity question.

Shoreline holds approximately 20,000 people. Unfortunately my source did not list how many are reserved seats vs. lawn capacity.

Hmmm . . .

In regards to the Cell Phone List, I sent a PM to Beach Blonde and haven't heard back yet. She hasn't posted in two weeks either.

Anyone heard from her?

I'll give her a few more days and then I may just take it over.
