Hey Carol Merrill!

Welcome to BN and our Shoreline thread. I've added you to the "Who's Going" post on the first page of this thread. Be sure to PM me your real name, cell phone # and seats if you would like to be on the cell phone list.

If you haven't already, read the thread to see what the plan is and where people are sitting at the concert and staying overnight. (Depending on the responses I may post an image showing where everyone is sitting.)

Seems like there are two schools of thought for tailgating. One is a sports bar about 3 or 4 blocks from Shoreline and the other is tailgating at the Premium Parking Lot at Shoreline.

Look forward to meeting (not meating) you at the show!

Okay Shoreline People! I am taking over the Cell Phone List (at least for the time being).

Even if you have already sent this information to Beach Blonde please send me the following:

BN Name:
Real Name:
Cell Phone #:
Seat(s) Location:

Yes, yes I know I'll get your BN name with the PM but it just makes it easier to put this list together if you follow this format.

Oh yeah....John, you can also add to the list Everybodys Cousin n Miami and friend. I haven't talked to him for a little bit but the plan is that they'll be there. :D

Look for the Blender Bike!

Post by MrWayTooMuch »

I am new to the board, but a veteran of 25+ Buffett shows. We will be partyin' in the parking lot with the famous BLENDER BIKE, an exercise bike with a blender mounted between the handlebars...the faster you pedal, the smoother and tastier your 'rita! Come join us and work up a thirst and quench it at the same time! We will be in the RV parking area.
There's a whole lot of things that I've never done, but I ain't never had too much fun!!

any geocachers going to the show?

I'm thinking about setting a few caches, themed for the show. Maybe lei's and other goodies in caches within walking distance of the venue.
Any interest out there?

While a fun idea, I'm thinking that most folks don't want to take their GPS units to the show, cuz it would s u c k to lose it or have it stolen. :-? Things have a way of happening when there is drankin involved...

Very good point. I was thinking about the pre-event portion of the day. Had not given too much thought about those who might not be able to return to their car in between.
Might have to give enough hints to make the caches gps'less...

I thought about the gps-less route too...but I think you would need to have video cams so you could catch the footage of some not too sober PHs trying to figure out the clues.

Does anyone know what time the Sports Page opens on a Tuesday? I looked at their site - www.sportspagemv.com - but didn't see their hours posted. But I'm not always the best at looking EVERY WHERE....maybe you should get those video cameras on me when searching for anything Changing Channels has hidden?!?!?

I was told the parking lots won't open until 5:pm.....and I'm trying to get a good grasp on what time everyone plans to start. Here in Colorado I'd be at the venue around noon...but we can tailgate openly and great-ly here in Colorado....not that it's anyone's fault, not saying that....at least you guys get a show, I have to come to your show, and thanks for having me!!

I thought the Sportspage opened for lunch, and stayed open until last call. I know that it will be well prepared for the PHs!

Welcome to BN and our Shoreline Thread Changing Channels and MrWayTooMuch. Like I told Carol Merrill PM me your information if you'd like to be included on the Cell Phone List.

Cool idea about the caching CC! My car has a GPS but it may not be good for this . . .

MrWTM, that Blender Bike sounds awesome and I can't wait to see it at the show!

One month from the show (ok, that's tomorrow, but anyway) One month away, and I still don't have my plane ticket.

Greatest fear: leaving my concert ticket in the fridge the day I leave for the airport. Yes, I keep my tickets in the fridge, they're not supposed to get hot, so I keep them cool.

Of course if I don't get the plane ticket, I won't need the concert ticket. I've been waiting for the price to go down, and it went up last weekend.

Anyone have a connection with Frontier Airlines that can help? Or any airline that flies from Denver to San Jose?

I'm so happy to be "Nibblin' on sponge cake"!!
