Last I heard, Santa was unlikely. I need to go up there and kick his boss' butt.

ETP-I'll give you an "IOU" on the RV, since we'll be splitting the hotel room if that's okay. We can work it out when I get down there, k?

Hold off on the RV until you check El Monte in Mckinney. This is where I got mine for the show. You can get a 30' bus for 129 a day with free gen. use. Ask for Bob, he is a parrothead who manages the place and sometimes gives discounts to parrotheads and for a fee will deliver the RV and pick it up- there is a sewage tank dump fee.
Cheap Vodka (the Starplex center) allows overnight RV parking after the show and the night before starting I think after 5.
Bob is delivering ours Thursday night so we can camp out. The smaller units are cheaper as well, but spend the extra $60-before your discount- and have tons of extra sleeping room.

Once we agree on a location, will you try to hold some spots until we get there Friday morning?

So if we park the RV there on Thursday night, how do we all go about getting to it (easily) on Friday? I'm confused.

PHritz is also getting an RV, and he's camping out Thursday night.
I'm asking him to hold some spots. You'll just show up on Friday with ETP's RV...

I'm going to do my best to get in Thursday night and leave the RV there if other parrotheads are in the lot.

If that doesn't work out, I'll be one of the first in line Friday morning and will stake out some choice spots for everyone!

Just got off the phone with El Monte RV's in McKinney....

Their manager Bob is a parrothead and wants to be a part of this, but has been at Daytona for the last 2 weeks.

He's due back in the office on Tuesday. I'm to call him then.

They have PLENTY of RV's to rent. NASCAR will have just been over, leaving them with extras.

They PICK UP AND DELIVER for a fee.

They're WAY cheaper than Hall Motor Home in Fate.

WAY. WAY cheaper.

Like $90 - $130 a day TOTAL + pick up and delivery fees.

There is a discount for parrotheads. They girl I talked to didn't know how much, but even without a HUGE discount, their rates are a lot less than the first one!

Their units may not be as luxurious as Hall Motor Home, but as long as there's a generator, a microwave and a clean bathroom, we're good to go. We can use leftover $$$$'s to help Four Play with the Low Country Boil. :D

I LOVE IT WHEN A PLAN COMES TOGETHER. :D :D :D

So, should we get a keg? That would make it a lot easier on the out-of-towners coming in....
