The most frequently reported adverse events were headache (9%), rhinitis (6%),
respiratory disorder (including upper respiratory tract congestion) (5%), pharyngitis
(4%) and taste perversion (3%).

Anything to promote perversion, I always say.

And all the harm that I ever did, Alas it was to none but me.
And since it falls, unto my lot, that I should rise and you should not
I'll gently rise and I'll softly call, 'Goodnight and Joy be with you all.'"

buffettbride wrote:Well, let's see here.

First of all, thanks everyone for all of your well-wishes and sharing your stories with me. They definitely helped me realize the relative urgency in helping Matt keep his infection under watchful eye.

The good news is, he doesn't have to spend next week in the hospital.

The bad news is, he does have the MRSA kind of staph infection and gets another round of antibiotics. This kind he has to swab up his nose (Bactropan). :-?

It's not the best news, but could definitely be worse, and as I'm learning, this doesn't necessarily mean if the next round of antibiotics works that the infection won't come back.
