He's in a real-live, non-postable meeting.

As far as topical antibiotic creams/ointments, they're going to do nothing once
the "bugs" get under your skin. If applying them makes you feel "safer" just
don't use the Neosporin (or the generic equivalent)... use Polysporin if you want
an ointment, or the Bacitracin. One of the active ingredients in Neosporin helps
contribute to the development of drug-resistant strains of bacteria. A good wash
with Betadine cleanser would probably be more effective...

Blue ridge mountains, shenandoah river
Life is old there, older than the trees
Younger than the mountains, blowing like a breeze
Country roads, take me home
To the place, I be-long
West virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads
All my mem’ries, gather ’round her
Miner’s lady, stranger to blue water
Dark and dusty, painted on the sky
Misty taste of moonshine, teardrop in my eye
Country roads, take me home
To the place, I be-long
West virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads
I hear her voice, in the mornin’ hours she calls to me
The radio reminds me of my home far a-way
And drivin’ down the road I get a feeling’
That I should have been home yesterday, yesterday
Country roads, take me home
To the place, I be-long
West virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads

Just for Molly...
There isn't really an update, which is actually a good thing. He has general soreness, but it doesn't appear to be spreading and he's able to handle the pain with just Ibuprofin. Although, I will be making a visit to pharmacy of mom (who has every painkiller under the sun to treat her Fibromyalgia) to get him an extra special treat so he can get a good night's sleep!
If he continues on this course, as long as it doesn't turn out to be antibiotic-resistant, he's well on his way to recovery.

He's soaking in the tub right now to help with some of the pressure of the sores. They really are looking better, at least to me, so I'm hoping it's the antibiotics doing their thing!

It's much appreciated. I've stopped reading stuff on the Internet about Staph infections 'cause it was really freakin' me out...and then it would freak him out.Marnin Grita Guy wrote:11:39 time for an update!buffettbride wrote:ACCCCCCCCKKK!!springparrot wrote:It has been 3 hours----time for an update.springparrot wrote:Thank you, Mallorybuffettbride wrote:Just for Molly...

He really is doing well, though, and I have a good feeling about his recovery.
