Do an image search on Google for "Rehab Is For Quitters" and you'll get all kinds of results for t-shirts with that very saying on them.

...Bubba doesn't like SUVs? Gimme a break.
I s'poze I should check Edmunds and see what the Defender 130 has been reclassified as. Perhaps I'll see the FL Manatee "100000" plates on a new hybrid at Ditch Plains this summer.

I admit I'm anything BUT an economist, but I can't help but think if cars/trucks/vans were sold for WHAT THEY'RE WORTH, a lot of people who complain about high gas prices WOULDN'T.
But that's just me-what do I know. I'm just a drunk from Iowa putting in my time until I die.
I paid $40k for my Tahoe and I LOVE it. Worth every dollar to me. Very comfortable, drives great, has a good bit of room (not in the back seats, so much)...great for travelling, except paying the gas bill of course....but hey, I knew it got 15/18 mpg when I bought it. Not like they hide that on the sticker...hell, that's the boldest part of the window sticker. I knew what I was getting and gas prices or gas guzzling doesn't bother me one bit.
Somebody elses argument about SUV's making it "more difficult" to drive for others is just ridiculous. I've owned cars, trucks and now my Tahoe...and I've never experienced an occasion where somebody elses vehicle made it more difficult for me to drive, unless of course the person behind the wheel can't control their own car.

Many people can't control their vehicles. This matter is made worse when the vehicle is large. Of course, the drivers of these trucks "sit up high," in a large vehicle that makes them feel good, never mind any thought of national security, just slap that "Support the Troops" robbon the back and it's all good. And making it more difficult to drive for the rest of us? Yeah who cares? Never mind that one can easily be surrounded by these trucks multiple times on a highway, making it impossible to see anything.
Last week - last week I was parked in a parking lot, when a women came out of the store, into her truck and then backed into me. She likely would not have done that if she didn't sit so close to the sun and was a little closer to the Earth and could see (even without attempting) that I was parked behind her. Yes people do stupid things in cars everyday, but again this has only sky rocketed with oblivious truck driving explosion in the last decade.
Too bad we can't really be sensible and act like adults concerning how national security plays into this.

I actually laughed aloud when I read the accusation that SUV drivers are somehow responsible for national security.
Ever read this one?: "He who excuses himself accuses himself."
I ask again, how many of you carpool? I do, in my SUV, and I replace three other vehicles in the process. How many of you buy things made from plastic? Anyone wear clothing?
As for not being able to see around an SUV, try backing off a bit. You'll be able to see just fine.
I could go on, but it's almost 5:00 and I'm going home (insert your own '5:00 somewhere' joke here).

I bet you could go on and on. I've heard a million excuses and I've heard a million reasons why their exception is the norm.

I didn't say that they were. Maybe, though, at some point, we, as a nation, can take some responsibilty and help our greater interests.

Give me a break, what turnip truck did you fall off of? I suppose if it was up to you we'd all be riding bikes or your Aunt Emmy's Yugo.
Get over yourself and the leftist BS that you have listened to all your life from out of touch teachers living in ivory towers.
Once you have lived in the real world for a little while, get back with us here on the REAL planet Earth.
