So, who has gone to see this movie?
I saw it tonight with my family and it was awesome, totally brought me back to my childhood (although it hasn't been that long since my childhood, it just seems that way).
I'll tell you, I'm 17 and saw it with my 14 year old brother and parents... so awesome. We all loved it. It may seem to cater towards younger kids, but totally suitable for anybody.
There is a plot that can be followed throughout the whole movie, but that's not the focal point of the movie. The curiousity of George is really brought out and the events of the movie hinge on his curiousity. In the end it's really a story about friendship, and it's just overall feel good. Not to mention that the Jack Johnson music is very nicely weaved into the movie; creates a happy and carefree atmosphere.
I greatly recommend this movie to anybody. For real 8)

I'm ALL ABOUT having a "happy and carefree atmosphere!" :D I loved the books when I was little (which was before you were even born, TT, but that's another story! ). I loved how the man in the big yellow hat always loved George. Thanks for the review....can't wait to to go see it! :D

when my son was very young...we were outside and he saw some white mold stuff on the ground..

he said that looks like barium...

Barium? how do you know what barium looks like?

G'ma had been reading the story of C.George eating a pc. pf the picture puzzle that was a map..

and when he went to the hospital, they gave him barium...

been a fan ever since...

I took my grand Keets to see it last week. VERY entertaining for all of us! The music is very good too.
