That cookie jar is awesome! (and the water pitcher and the serving dish). I now know what I'm using that gift card I have on.
Thanks Nicole!

I was hoping someone else got as excited as I did!

I think it's all awesome! I've been wanting to transform my house into tropical. This might be a great start!

I think it's GREAT!
Wonderful start to getting it more tropical! I love it!
I finally gave up on finding one set I can live with..and I have 2 and 2 of everythng...I mix and match.....the only thing they have in common is a bit of cobalt blue to tie it together....
I like having plates that are mixed!
I just got really cute stemware that is that cobalt and it ties it all together...but that is going to set a beautiful table!!!
Of course my chairs are like that too.....2 wooden ones...and 2 wrought iron ones.....

Last year at Wal Mart I bought a set of dishes, golden background with palm trees for decorations. 16 piece set-4 plates, 4 saucers, 4 coffee mugs, and 4 soup bowls. The set sold for $19.95, so I bought my wife a set, and got a few to send to parrothead friends of ours.
Kohls has similar items as well, but not sold in sets.

I have a set of 4 plastic glasses with parrots on them I picked up in Florida - they're cool and they won't break if you drop them

I got some hawaiian/tropical themed acrylic tumblers at the $1 store a couple of weeks ago. They also have some plates/bowls that have flipflops/beach umbrellas/fish on them that are kind of cool for outdoor entertaining (not that I do that at all). I would use them indoors personally!

Tall and tan and young and lovely
The girl from Ipanema goes walking
And when she passes, each one she passes goes - ah
When she walks, she's like a samba
That swings so cool and sways so gentle
That when she passes, each one she passes goes - ooh
(Ooh) But I watch her so sadly
How can I tell her I love her
Yes I would give my heart gladly
But each day, when she walks to the sea
She looks straight ahead, not at me
Tall, (and) tan, (and) young, (and) lovely
The girl from Ipanema goes walking
And when she passes, I smile - but she doesn't see (doesn't see)
(She just doesn't see, she never sees me,...)
