Pay no attention to that large "tent" in my backyard.

Nothing to see here. Move along. :pirate:

PurduePhan (aka by several aliases but mostly as Jr. Mint's little brother) is going. Bringing a couple who will be going to their first JB concert ever. Please, DON'T be kind to them. Punish them with jello shots, homemade rum concoctions and coconut bras. Staying at the Cove downtown Lake Geneva...meet me at that Boar's Head or Wild Pig or whatever it's called restaurant for the Bleu Cheese Burger and tall draft...yum!

Let me be the first to ask...if I don't get tix on TicketSuckfest, anyone got any extra? The lawn is perfectly fine.

I am hoping all my parrothead friends help me out this year. Along with my usual group of veteran Alpine Parrotheads, I am bringing several Virgins. For years I have been lecturing to them on the philosophy and life-attitudes of our esteemed leader and now I am hoping they can personally experience what it is like to be a member of this elite group. I hope you all are as ready as I am to make up for lost time and help me show these virgins that Alpine is the BEST party of the year!!

Geneva BB, you're on! I've never had a burger that good! We make it an annual stop - sure missed it last year. Looking forward to staying at the Cove this year; have stayed at The Interlocken, Timber Ridge, Alpine (several times) and at a few of the little moms-and-pops places before. Heard the Cove is a good place...doesn't much matter though, as long as Hogs and Kisses and that little Captain's bar and the sports bar downtown are thumping, life is good!

This bus people are talking about on here...was it the one that came downtown a couple of years ago with everyone's asses hanging out? Brilliant! Gotta find that picture somewhere....

Oh... the busses... It's www.volcanoexpress.com trust me, it's a great time.

2 years ago at Alpine, 2 friends and I booked a room at the Alpine Valley Resort. Shortly after this I met FinsUpNorth, and she tried talking me into the bus trip, but I wouldn't change my mind. Well when the time for the show came, we stayed the first night at Alpine, the ended up going back to Janesville with the Volcano Express crew for the night of the concert.

P.S. Wayne, Jolena was on the bus, so you know it was a good time. :D
To Jolena...

I'm on top of the world, lookin' down on creation
And the only explanation I can find
Is the love that I've found ever since you've been around
You're love's put me at the top of the world

Count me in as well!! 8)

Now that I'm "free", I just need someone to party with--my friends are dwindling--the people that I used to always go to Buffett with are suffering from quite a few ailments. My best friend John has leukemia (he's 31), my friend "Otis" had a heart attack (at 32!) so no drinking for him and the rest of the crew deemed themselves "too old" (yeah, right. ).

So if I could sneak in with someone, it would be greatly appreciated!!

(I'm still pulling for John to make it this year---crossing my fingers!) :pirate:

Chu ...

That's a lot to deal with. I hope you have good people around to support you. Man, your friends are so young to be struggling with such serious health issues. It kinda scares me to think about it. I wish you (and your friend, John) the very best. I sure hope you can make the show this year. It sounds like you could really use the mental escape!

Thanks, Geneva Beach Bum. It's been tough, but I'm the one who always makes them laugh. :)

John is actually looking forward to going--it's one of the things that's helping him get through his illness. Every time I visit him in the hospital, I say "Buck up buddy---you've got to be my designated driver at Buffett!!! And you need to see the girls in the bikinis!!!!" :pirate:

I got back in town friday and saw the dates!! :D
But then called the alpine resort and they are booked :(
Last few years its been pretty empty up there, since they dont ask for deposits anymore it is a shame that rooms will go unused.
So looks like i'm out to steal an RV! wish me luck :pirate:

Couldn't let this go any longer...

When we're in Alpine, pay no atttention to that tent in my pants!!! HEYHEY! I'm here all week - tip your waitresses, try the veal.

So...will there be a pre-party in Lake Geneva Friday night and/or into Saturday morning? It's going to be a bummer for us Indiana Mother Phlockers to get there because the Mensa Society member that schedules road work has decided that both the Indiana Toll Road and the Dan Ryan need to be tilled over at the same time (tilled over - that's an Indiana term, ain't it? Git-R-Done!). However, I hear that once you cross the Cheddar Curtain into Wisconsin (ya, hey der!) and stop at the first of a dozen porno and cheese shops, you can start drinking! I just wouldn't eat any of the cheese you find in the private viewing rooms.

Can you tell I'm vibed for this concert. Sweet mother of popsicle sticks, I'm glad I have this to look forward to. Thank you Jimmy!
