Hello, everyone. I'm new here, but by reading along, everyone seems pretty friendly. My friend and I are attending the Pittsburgh show. We're coming down from Ontario for 3 days, and staying at the Country Inn, where I understand there's quite a pre-party going on. I would have a picture up, but my avatar didn't seem to get accepted, or i really don't know what i'm doing. Likely the latter.
The venue looks awesome, really looking forward to going!
Look for us at the pre-party!

We are also staying at the Country Inn and Suites, but won't be there for the pre-party! But our Canadian Cousin Colin will be there! And where there's Colin, there's a crazy good time!
Looking forward to meeting you in the parking lot!

This is a great idea...I know at The Meeting of the Minds they scheduled a time & place where the BN people met up for a bit. We should be able to do something similar at the concert. We just need to find a landmark and pick a time.Does anyone know if there will be a BN tent or a place where we all can meet?
Any organizationally skilled folks out there got any ideas?

I'll gladly volunteer my tiki bar as a meeting spot - and I'll be sure to have enough jello shots for all.Craiger wrote:This is a great idea...I know at The Meeting of the Minds they scheduled a time & place where the BN people met up for a bit. Has anyone been following the Dallas thread? FourPlay takes tailgating to a whole new level! He will surely be missed at Starlake this year!!fanvan wrote:OK buckeye-----you take charge of the hotline and that entitles you to have two virgin pineapple drinks.---without fourplay at the tailgate we have a lot of slack to pick up.
Fanvan's setup might be a good meeting place too, since it is highly visible. Since I am being bribed by virgin pineapple drinks, I would be willing to set up the hotline. Last year, the hotline number had a voicemail set up telling everyone exactly where the fanvan RV was located.
Frank, we could caravan from the Country Inn again and try to get your tiki bar as close to fanvan's spot as possible. Fanvan, what time do you plan on getting to the parking lot?

hello fellow parrotheads. I'm a newbie here at BN. I been following this website for a few years now and finally got the stones to jump in and talk with you guys...and girls too(sorry). My friend and I are making the roady to the Pittsburgh show from Cleveland and we certainly don't want to miss the tailgate. That is half the fun as you all know. I sure would like to meet up with the BN'ers and tailgate like its should be done for ol' JB. That is if you would welcome me of course! PHINS UP!

Welcome par8hdwood to BN. I really think it would be great to meet people from this board in the parking lot for some tailgate fun. I'll be there with 3 other parrotheads. I was what some would call a closet parrothead but have decided that it is time to get out and meet some people who share the love of the music and show my colorful side. I'm not a big drinker and prefer to stay sober enough to remember the parking lot and show. Plus after the show we have to head back home. Two people work in the early afternoon the next day. I'm from Ohio too but more south of where you are. I've heard many talk about the tailgating and I really don't know what to expect or where to go. I've never tailgated before and any advice would be appreciated.
No quarter given!
