Will keep you posted.

Someone else should probably assume hotline duty. Sorry!

Wish me luck in sorting out this mess I like to call my life!

Anyone know someone who wants to hire a pregnant chick for a few months?
Oui.

Je suis certain qu'il ya quelq'un qui voudrait te engagé pour une couples de mois.

Sens doute.
Eh?

I think it's Canadian...

Yeah, thanks Bill!

So what's the plan so far? Is everyone going to congregate at one location? I'll be getting in as soon as I can (probably around 3-ish), but I'd love to at least stop by and say hi to some fellow BN'ers!

The Country Inn & Suites usually has a couple of buses going over to Starlake.
I guess i should have been more explicit when I asked this. We got tickets thru ticketmaster to catch their bus in Fox Chapel Waterworks Mall. Since I have never been to Star Lake it sounded good. Then next yr we can drive ourselves. Thanks anyways.

I understand.

The Country Inn and Suites has one of if not the best pre-partys of any Buffett show I have been to.

It just rocks.
I will test the waters there this yr. and gather info for next yr. Country Inn is sounding great & will make it a holiday next yr...geez, planning on next yr already. Gotta have things to look forward to! :D
I don't believe I have had the pleasure.

I am Cousin or Colin from Canada. I am half Irish, half French and biligual.

This will be my fifth Pitsburgh show. They have all been great.
I am also half Irish! Is that bilingual? Or is it buy linguine? Oh someone here is tired!

OMG! You freaked me out! It's in 15 days, not 10!! Someone's excited! Me too though!

You can thank me for the tickets, since I was the one that arranged the swap! But I will send your thanks along to my friend Linsey! She is the loser who backed out on me for w**k!

I am so very happy that I will get to grace you all with my presence!

OK so i was never too good at counting. "Math Sucks" Received an interesting e mail from ticketmaster today Buy a primier parking pass for premier parking which would put me away from all the tailgating---but the real glitch was that I would be able to get in the lot at 5:00---that would be a long wait from 9:30 when I expect to get in line.

It's Tuesday in Ohio - 2 weeks to go

Post by TimInOhio »

It's Tuesday here in Ohio, and that's only 14 days til the show...

Hoping to get there early and stay late. Is there a secret BN handshake or something, so us newbies will know who the BNers are?

I've only been to a couple shows (Pittsburgh 04 and Cincinnati 01), but I am really looking forward to another show. Besides, um, refreshments, what else is mandatory to bring? Grass skirt? Coconut bra?

Ask Cousin Colin for the secret handshake. And then disinfect as soon as possible! :D

A lot of us have Buffettnews name tags and/or lanyards, so look for those! Or just look for the big fat pregnant girl and you will find me with the other BNers! I shouldn't be hard to spot!

As for what to bring: lots of food, water, other drinks, grass skirts, coconut bras, leis, water guns, beads and other booty for bartering, a kiddie pool, a grill, inflateable monkeys....whatever you can think of that would add to the party and fit in your car, bring it!

So are we still at 14 days or is it 13 now? Whatever, fanvan is right, Math Sux!

This question might have already been answered but I'm too lazy too look through the entire thread. We're staying at the Country Inn and I'm wondering what their bus service is like to the concert. Has anyone ever taken their buses to the show? We're looking forward to seeing all of you there, it's going to be a wild time.

I know we are getting excited to meet many of you for the first time. We will be there at the fanvan as soon as we can get in. What should be bring to this party at the fanvan? Is there anything lacking that needs brought? As for the 800# how does this work? I have a cellphone which I will have with me but will leave in the car. Also what time should we be in line to get into the parking lot. Just wondering what kind of line there will be. I was thinking that if we are in line around 3:00 what time could we expect to get in? Any ideas? or should we try to get in line earlier? We have a 3 hour drive to get there so I'm trying to figure out a good leaving time as well.

The 800 number is 800-604-0838. You can call it from any pay phone, but depending on the company you might have to pay the 35 cents.

Once fanvan gets in line to park the morning of the concert, he'll leave a greeting on the number with what lot to go to. Once he parks the RV, he'll update the greeting with his exact location. Having the hotline lets him get current information out to everyone without getting calls on his cell phone all day.

markruble-----four play gave you all the info on the 800# setup---the last time i was at the post was 2003---we caravaned from the hotel at 11:30and were in the parking lot by 12:45---traffic on the highway was so jamed up that they had to open the lots---i will try to get in line by 9:30-10:00 and will leave a message at that time--- once i park in the lot i will update the message with my exact location. I suspect that if you get in line at 3:00 you will not be able to get anywhere near the rv---hey every year could be different but i go with my gut---just bring whatever will make your day complete

If anyone is still looking for tickets for this concert. I just looked online at ticketmaster. I was able to pull up two tickets UNDER ROOF Pavilion seating. Section 6 Row Q. Solo tickets are a bit better. Same section but row M.

They usually don't let us blow-up types in the concert so I don't need a ticket, but I would like a 'chaperone' to take me to the tailgate..hint, hint!!

I'm assuming that the 800 number is accessible by all, since it's published here on a public board? I'd like to set up camp in the came area as everyone else. I won't have
a 6 foot pink flamingo hanging from a 20 ft flagpole
but I'll do my best! I DO have some 16 ft flagpoles - just have to find something appropriate to fly. Hmmm...

Oh yeah - those "under roof" seats are still available on TicketMaster as of 1am Ohio time.

I will check out the 800# and try to make my way over.

See you then! (hopefully)
