I just got an update, and the ParrotJeep(tm) WILL have a flagpole with a Margarita pinata at the top, so that'll be your best best for spotting it from a distance (see earlier post for my nifty visual aid!)

And yes, the 'rents will be be in attendance, so swing by and make sure to hoist a glass with the two people responsible for unleashing Craiger on an unsuspecting world...

It is REALLY frustrating trying to convince a group of people that, even though PGP says "Parking lots open at 4," it doesn't mean jump in your car at 3, for the 75 mile drive! ARGH!

I'd think that PGP would be smart enough to open the lots at noon or something more reasonable than trying to keep people out until 4, especially since their own website says:

*Traffic for this event will be very heavy. Guests traveling to the venue should expect to experience delays on the roadways – including a brief lane closure on Rt. 22/30 – and also in entering the amphitheatre’s parking lots. The Post-Gazette Pavilion recommends that guests come as early as possible (and tailgate if you’d like!)

I know that parrotheads will always find a way to tailgate, but it would be a lot simpler and safer if we weren't all driving around looking for a place to set up shop, then having to move once the gates open. What a pain.

The fact that I am sitting here at work, instead of getting some rest ISN'T helping my disposition, either.
Oh, and it's now officially Tuesday, 6/6/06, at least in Ohio.

I live about 45+ mins from StarLake and we are leaving about 1-1:30, They ALWAYS open the lots early....just try your luck.... see you all there.
