I'm just trying to decide on a hotel. Looks like I'll be staying in the downtown Boston area. Thats for the advice everyone gave earlier in the thread.

The one time I was there I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Mansfield, it's about 5 minutes from the venue.

That's a long drive to Boston from Mansfield after a day in the GW parking lot. There's no public transportation that will get you real close to GW.

yeah, I agree.......

there are lots closer (and cheaper) places to stay. Mansfield, Franklin, Attleboro, even Providence, are all way closer than Boston

I'm be flying in on Thursday morning, so I'll be seeing all the sights on Thursday and Friday. I know there are closer places but Boston make this easy. This also means that I will only need to rent a car for one day.

The best part is that my Mrs. Finsup is going, and she does not drink!

Oh yeah, and i finally get to meet the Balcony Girls. Go figure, I live less than four hours away by car, and we'll meet at Great Woods!

All I remember is about 3 years ago I was going to be going to Great Woods, My good friend (PH911) told me to fly into Hartford, because its a lot easier then flying into Logan.

I just arrived at work... got two PC's up and running so far... and have my phone set for redial!!! I'm shootin' for Saturday first and if I'm lucky I'll end up with tickets to both!!

I am coming from Memphis, TN to the Aug-12 show (presuming I get tickets of course!). If I stay in BOS for the weekend, do any of the PH clubs put together a bus to/from the concert from Boston? Or, do you need to stay near the venue for that night? I've never been to Boston so am looking forward to it!
