The best way to do it is bring a few (depending on how much water you need) large outdoor Rubbermaid garbage cans with tops. When you get to the GW area stop at one of those do-it-yourself car washs and fill the buckets. Having a pick-up truck to put the buckets in makes it pretty easy.
That's actually a pretty good idea, but those trash barrels must be HEAVY once filled. How do you manuver them to the pool?
Bring a garden hose and set up a siphon.
Bingo
Or bring a small bucket and bail the water out until it is light enough to move.
When we did several years ago we used the back of a pick up truck as the pool so it was easier to just dump the barrels over.

Thanks for the info on the water, we only need a few gallons, as it's a very small pool. ( no diving!) We are coming down on Fri. staying at the Holiday Inn in Mansfield, Anyone else?

In the past, Peter Mayer (and Jim, and once even Roger Guth!) played with Scott at this venue. Since there's no gig on Peter's website for that night, just maybe...???!!!
Scott is great I saw him at the Hog's Breath in KW this past April. Well worth the trip to NH.
MID and I plan on being there too! Sounds like a great place for a dinner and a show!!!

Any prolific parrottheads out there with 2 extra lawn tix? I would forever be in your debt. I cant find em anywhere...except one moron who is scalping ON THIS SITE and charging $125 per lawn seat. Why hasnt he been banished, deleted, tarred and feathered?

I have never been to Great Woods. Do you think I need to buy one of those $30 premium parking tickets off ticketmaster or should we just pay for parking when we get there. Is the tailgating better at any particular lot. Is everyone getting there at 9am when the lot opens? any advise for a great tailgate would be appreciated.

The Premium lots are usually the lamer of the lots as far as tailgating goes. You will, however, get out really fast after the show.
