Is the tailgating better at any particular lot. Is everyone getting there at 9am when the lot opens? any advise for a great tailgate would be appreciated.
Parking is free.
You don't have a choice of where to park - they just direct you in and keep filling up lots. Stay with the phun pholks - don't do Premium!!

When I got Premium parking at Nissan last year, I still had a blast.

The 5 vats of liquid KY and the inflatable pool for the women's coconut bra and grass skirt wrestling match.

My friends and I are travling in what the company has dubbed
a "fun mover", aka a winnebago. Does anyone know if all oversized
vehicles wind up in the same spot? They refuse to leave before
3pm and I just want to make sure that a late arrival won't banish
us to siberia.

Actually, you'll be "banished" (as you put it) to the most happening spot on the grounds, with all the other party busses, etc. Not far from the entrance to the show, free outdoor facilities (a.k.a. woods), lots of fun and games, etc. Enjoy!!

I detoured by this morning on my way to work and there were already cars lined up at 8am!!
'd guess by 9am you'll see a fairly steady stream of people arriving and it should remain steady until around 11 when it really starts to pick up.

So, in case any Saturday tickets pop up on TM either today or tomorrow and I decide to go, where would be a good place to stay? The only time I went to GW I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Mansfield but it's full for this weekend.

All the Mannsfield places are booked, although a cancellation is not totally out of the question. People either seem to be staying up Rt. 1 (Foxboro and North) or along 495 (easy access to GW's). Try Hampton Inn in Franklin - close-ish, clean, and not TOO pricey.

Friends of mine just barely cancelled at the Comfort Inn in Foxboro, but they're making people book 2 nights. The rest of us booked back when the concert was first announced so we only had to stay Sat night.
Couldn't hurt to give it a shot.
