The Boy Nobody Knew wrote: Sorry, I get a little jumpy at the suggestion that one of the last bastions of adult fun may get assimilated onto the pile of family friendly entertainment. Especially since hearing the new "alternate lyrics" to WDWGDAS" he felt obligated to introduce because of the "little ears" in the audience. Some things were just meant for adults, and drunken, Carribean rock and roll is one of them.
Reminds me of one of my all time favorite Southern/Country rock performers, Charlie Daniels. My theme song from my early days; Long Haired Country Boy's lyrics have been changed from "I get stoned in the morning, I get drunk in the afternoon" to "I get up in the morning, I get down in the afternoon"
It is even offically changed on his web site lyrics page. That is sad.......
Don't change the history of your lyrics. If you wrote it that way, keep it that way...
"I'll never drink Starbucks with Willie Again".
I'm sure it's the artist's decision, but I agree with leaving the lyrics alone. That is what we listen to and come to hear. We were at a folk festival to see Todd Snider and he also edited some lyrics for the keets that were in the background. "Went in to get some cigs and never saw the ....." leaving out whole phrases because of cursing. Most of the curse words were bleeped. It is their song, their choice, but it can change the atmosphere of the music.

Evidently, this is a game they've done at Cincinnati concerts before. Somebody mentioned it on another thread, it must be hilarious.
This is why kids should not be at the tailgates OR on the lawn.

Ever. Period.

HEY !!!

Size and power are for football players.

whatever the heck that means....

And I would only watch the games, unless I could find one of those old ones from the 40's or 50's that weigh 20 pounds and were for...ahem .....sore muscles. That would be funny...
