We probably won't be able to make it to the venue until around 10 AM at the earliest - is that still early enough for us to find parking in the lot, or are we SOL at that point?

Thanks for the info!!!

Hey bjleac01, welcome to BN. I think you'll be fine. Look us up.

I think everyone is going to CIP on Wed. night. It's only a few exits up from Riverbend. I plan on showing up sometime

It's probably on the thread already, but....

The Boat Drunks will be at Cheeseburgers in Paradise on Wednesday night from 9-1. For those getting up that early, they will have a noon show at CIP the day of the concert.

Visit www.boatdrunks.com for more info.

OK, some of the stress is gone. The Phinmobile setup will have a different look this year. We'll have a motorhome with the phin on top but the trailer is different. Its a black 6x12 being towed by a white Ranger pickup. We'll look a little different but it'll be business as usual. My name is on the cell phone list that went out so feel free to call.

If you want to pick your spot I would arrive no later than 11am.

I plan on around between 9-10am.

I talked to the Mike, the guy that runs the lot across from Coney yesterday. The gate will be open by 10.

This may have already been covered, but is there a list of all the BN groups that will be formed separately? I'm going with a friend (who is going to their first Buffett show) and we want to do it right, but we don't have the car capacity to bring our own tailgating stuff, nor the time to prepare either. So we'll kinda be grazing, looking for groups to mingle with here and there.

Also, for veteran tailgaters, what is your best advice for the "almost-21-but-not-quite-legal-yet" Parrotheads that will be tailgating? Like I said, we want to "do the Buffett experience right" since it's my buddy's first time. Thanks in advance!

I was looking on the Riverbend website and it says that there is absolutely NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES or TAILGATING permitted in the parking lots. Do the cops just overlook it for Buffett? Also, it says you CAN bring in disposable cameras without a flash. Is this enforced or can you usually get in with one that has a flash on it?

My brother and his friend are 20 and are Buffett virgins too. They would like to know this as well. Anybody?

I've always thought the "Don't ask, Don't tell" policy was best. :D

I'll PM you the Cell phone list, give us a call.

I'm on the list, too, as "trojan_sixtyone (Zach)". My friend and I may go to the Beganniversary for a while, but we'll be around. I may be making calls to the cell phone list to come around and chat. It'd be nice to have actual conversations with the wonderful Cincinnati-area people of BuffettNews!

I use the term "Cincinnati-area" loosely, because I'm from Western Kentucky and Cincinnati ain't exactly close.
