So no more parking on the gravel pit?MonumentBeach wrote:Ahhh....it won't be long now. I was over at Great Woods this past week buying some tickets to another show and seeing that parking lot really got me in the mood. From what I saw...it looks like they have been doing some work there too. Some of the lots were getting re-paved.
Who's Going to GREAT WOODS 8/10???

If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

question about rv
Normally we leave right after the concert. However this year I am getting married 3 days after this concert. Me and my whole wedding party are planning on getting an rv for the show. How long do they give you before they kick you out of the parking lot?

Re: question about rv
We stayed probably at least 2 hours in the lot after the show last year just hanging out. I doubt you'll have any trouble...unless you want to stay there till the Saturday show startsmattcrimson wrote:Normally we leave right after the concert. Re: question about rv
You should be good as long as your not causin too much trouble for a couple hours, they kicked us out last year after a few hours, when you look around and no one else is in your parking section, probably a good time to get going.MonumentBeach wrote:We stayed probably at least 2 hours in the lot after the show last year just hanging out. Yes- Normandy Farms and Canoe River, both have websites. We are staying at NF Fri and Sat (going to 8/12 but reading here anyway). They are pretty full, we are staying in what they call an overflow area, but sure to be filled with lots of other phlockers...jenniferw508 wrote:Rescued from page 2!!

I just posted this on the 8/12 thread as well. I just spoke to the folks at Canoe River and they still have room and don't have a problem with people showing up after the show and checking in the next morning.
