Hmmm... Lemme think about this one... Get wasted all day long and have to cut the party off early to get a decent spot on the lawn....

or

Get wasted all day and stumble in 1 minute before the start of the show and get to my spot in my comfy reserved seat....

Sorry dude, but I'm going with option 2...

I hit at exactly 10:00, they must have really gone fast or there were'nt that many pavillion seats in the pool this morning
I just don't think there were many available.....first time seats came up for me section 8 row U (then I got an error)......got back in and got Sec 7 Row DD....a bit behind you.

I've never had so many problems with Ticketmaster......wild...and an eyeopening experience that is for sure!

+++yea.......it's not as crazy when yanni tickets go on sale. :+++

Now that is just scary...can't you see the peace love and flake crowd that does Yanni pushing and shoving in line.....intense. **evil grin**

Last amphitheatre show we saw was Red Hot Chili Peppers.....just that not much of an issue with 5 minute sell outs....but we had fewer problems with even hot tickets....like Springsteen several years back.

Now, off to book a room before the 'keet and I are sleeping in the back of the Jeep.

That is probably a good thing! I checked the Hampton last night and they had over 45 rooms available. When I called about noon, they had 10 left.

we had a reservation at the hilton for $150 but then I found a room at the Sleep Inn yesterday for less than $65 :)
That was certainly a no brainer!
you can't lay on the beach and drink rum all day if you don't start in the morning 8)

We have a group of around 20 that were planning on going to the show, but everyone but I "struck out" getting the tickets, and I was only able to get 8.

Look for us in the limo parking area in front of the gates. We'll be in the gi-normous white stretch hummer. Shots for all BNers I meet!!

Not as big a group as I had hoped for, but who knows....we may find more tickets somewhere (without having to sell our children to get them).

See you there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
