As it turns out we have 2 tickets for sale on Friday afternoon (pretty good seats) and we have decided to skip the Saturday afternoon game. So we have all 4 seats available (not the best but they are in Wrigley Field) for Saturday 8/5/06. Cubs are playing Pittsburg. PM me if you are interested. :D :D :D :D
I thought I might better update the Cubs ticket situation. 8/4/06 - no longer available. 8/5/06 - 4 cheap seats still available. :D :D

Now don't go feeling like complete scum-you've got to add your own name to the list!

I would doubt it, but things might depend on just how far over they are. Usually the tickets say obstructed view on them, and that also shows on the ticketmaster website when you are purchasing tickets.

Mac Playing Friday Night

Post by MacFan »

Check this out from ticketmaster.com

Fri, 08/04/06
09:00 PM Mac McAnally
The Colosseum
Mokena, IL

Looks like Mac will be playing the night before the concert. If you all didn't go last year it was a great show and a ton of fun. The Colosseum is a neat place to see Mac....has a nice outdoor area with several bars, bean bag games, etc...

Spread the word!

And mapquest says Mokena and Tinley Park are only 9.38 miles apart! Great find, MacFan!

Mac in Mokena August 4

Post by POW1950 »

Confirmed with Colosseum in Mokena, 4 miles from First Midwest Bank Arena (Tweeter) that Mac is booked for 9PM. He was at the same place last year, pre Wrigley, and the show was great. Huge outdoor beer garden in tropical setting. He stayed 2 hours after the show hanging out witht he fans. Colosseum management probably booking a Caribbean band to play before Mac around 7pm. The Mac show would be a great meeting place for out of town Parrotheads on Friday night. See you there.

We had seats in 206 2 years ago (obstructed view). In that venue there are large pillars holding up the box seats, That is what will be in your way. Look at the picture on the www.firstmidwestbankamphitheatre.com webpage, you'll see what I mean. In our case we could see some of the stage, but not jimmy. But you can always see on the big jumbotrans on either side of the stage.

What the hell is this?
This isn't true is it?
I've always been to Alpine Valley and I'm a Tinley virgin.
This is straight from the venue website.

Tailgating and drinking are not permitted in First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre parking lots, per a Village of Tinley Park ordinance. A wide variety of food and beverages are available inside the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre before and during every performance.

That is 50% of the experience for me.
