For love of the game would have been my pick. I loved that movie. Since it wasnt a choice, I went with Major League. My wife and I were in a crowd scene in that one.
I am no longer fighting my inner demons. We are on the same side now.

Didn't realize For love of the game was that popular. I love Major league as you can see by my avatar.

The thing about Bull Durham, as good as it is, is that the film is not one you can sit down and watch with your little leaguer. Since baseball should be enjoyed by both young and old alike, Field of Dreams deserves the top spot in my opinion.

I'm partial to Major Leauge, but that's because I was in the crowd when they filmed some of the "home" game scenes at County Stadium in Milwaukee.

IMHO, Fields of Dreams is not a baseball movie. Ray could build anything and the plot would not change appreciably. For me, FoD is about relationships. And I am not a big Kevin Costner fan; his best acting was as a corpse in The Big Chill.

My favorite baseball movies are The Natural and Pride of the Yankees. I also like Bang the Drum Slowly, occupational hazard

Major League is the best.....not Major League 2 or 3, the original.

"The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. Its been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt, and erased again. But, baseball has marked the time. This field, this game, is a part of our past, Ray. It reminds us of all that once was good, and could be again."

I love Field of Dreams!

I am a huge baseball fan and I hated "Field of Dreams". :-? I've been to the site in Dyersville Iowa and took some BP and some grounders with my buddies on our annual baseball road trip and that was a neat experience. We actually hit a few balls into the corn that never came back. But I still didn't like the movie. :-?

Jer, Rad Jobu statue.

I like the top three in that order.
"Oh all the money that e'er I spent, I spent it in good company.
And all the harm that I ever did, Alas it was to none but me.
And since it falls, unto my lot, that I should rise and you should not
I'll gently rise and I'll softly call, 'Goodnight and Joy be with you all.'"

Love the Av, job! :D

For comedic value, I had to go with Major League. I was leaning that way when I first read the thread title and then seeing Jobu....kind of sealed the deal for me. :D

The Natural and Field Of Dreams were right there as well for me.
