A conversation in another thread made me think of this. Since the season is fast approaching, what's your favorite Baseball movie?

I like just about every baseball movie ever made..... "Field of Dreams" *just* beats out "A League of Their Own".....

I know It's a tough one. I could'v epicked atleast 4 or 5 of them. I was even an extra in a baseball movie and that didn't make the list ( For Love of the Game)

Yeah they filmed at Yankee Stadium and it was a real stretch for me. I had to be a Yankee fan. Really stretched my acting chops on that one. I think I see myself but it's probably just a blur.

Major League is prob my favorite out of that list. Field of Dreams is probably the best baseball movie though IMO

This is a way too tough topic to respond......................... There are alot of awesome movies there.................. I just saw Bad News Bears (re-make) and it was so damn funny...................... But then again some of those more serious movies are great just the same...............

I voted The Natural
but it was close between The Natural, Field of Dreams, and A league of their own

Yep. Add For the Love of the Game and the list is rounded out nicely

It wasn't the greatest movie, but I'm partial to The Sandlot because it was filmed close to me.....always fun to see 'hometown' on the big screen!

As a kid I loved The Natural so that gets my vote

I always thought the whole idea of Field Of Dreams was corny but still it's alright.

Soul Of The Game is another good one as well as The Scout.
