Tickets on eBay.....

Post by ~ Parrot Bay ~ »

If you missed out on tickets to the Dallas show, you can blame the brokers and bottom-feeders that bought them to make some extra cash.

Before they went on sell, I did an eBay search and came up with about 64 auctions selling tickets (including the 3 CA shows). Now, almost an hour after being on sale, there are 200+ auctions for tickets. The most I've seen on eBay is $799 for a pair.

And answer this:
How are tickets for the June and August shows already on eBay and broker sites?!?

PS- Last I check, there are some singles left for Dallas.

Most of the Dallas tickets on eBay are lawn. Going for $100 to $200 each.

Here's another one for some guy named JIMMY BUFFET

http://cgi.ebay.com/2-TICKETS-JIMMY-BUF ... dZViewItem

The auction ends 1/2 hour after the tickets go on sale.

The guy is charging $15 for shipping and handling and here is what it says about shipping:
Tickets will be shipped approximately 2-3 weeks after listing ends and payment is confirmed. Some orders may ship closer to event date.
 I hate these people tryin' to make a buck off fans of Jimmy

Why do we do this every year?
All the questions have been answered before, and yet we continue to ask.

So, for the last time, the reason you see tickets up there for ALL the shows is that many brokers own a season subscriptions to the place where Jimmy is playing. That way they get X amount of tickets for EVERY show there, not just Jimmy.
The other reason is that they know they will get access to lawn tickets so why not start advertising them now. There is no exact location for lawns so it won't matter.

Yep. Keep trying. They showed sold out, but then singles keep popping up every few minutes.

Just venting :-? I understand how it all works, it just bothers me to see his fans getting shut out or charged 3X - 5X the face value for decent seats.

Dallas tickets

Post by rustynail11 »

I have lurked on this board for a longtime but only posted once or twice.

It was tough getting tickets. I went to Foleys to get them. In the past i have pulled no worse than 4th row form there. I was first in line and the best she could get me was lawn seats. my wife was able to get some reserved seats on the internet though. Not the best seats in the house but better than the lawn.

I may have 2 extra lawns seats and 2 extra reserved seats. I will know for sure in the next few days. When I know for sure I will come back and post.

tickets

Since Buffett seems to have forgot Houston, I went down this morning and got Tickets for the Dallas show. For the first time in my life I ended up with Front row center. Nothing but blind luck!! I'm no broker and I could hardly believe it when he handed them to me.
